Veterans of Safety

One hallmark of VOS has been the continued, active involvement of our past leadership.  A typical business meeting has historically included at least 10 past presidents and four or five other former office holders.  Commitment from these persons has greatly benefited VOS actions, long after the years of actual formal leadership.

Examples of Recent Participation Include:

· Serving on one of five committees developing Performance Practices and Procedures for general industry

 

· Serving as Board Members for the Safety/Health Hall of Fame International

 

· Serving as members of the SHHOFI selection committee

 

· Participating with other professional development organizations

 

· Organizing student chapters of VOS to enable college and university students to participate in specific activities

 

· Providing professional expertise on request
