Membership Application

All new members begin by submitting the membership form, the first form on the column to the right of this page.  All new members must be recommended by a current member of the Veterans of Safety.  The recommending member must sign the application form.  The first year’s dues, $50, must accompany the application form as well as a $15 application / re-classification fee.

For prospective Affiliate Members, the recommending VOS member must agree in writing to act as the Affiliate Member’s mentor.  This written agreement must accompany the application form.

Once Associate Members have completed 10 years of service in our profession, they may apply for full membership status.

Upon retirement from the fields of Professional Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Compliance, any member may apply for Member Emeritus status.
